Pale Cloud spring 2015 preview with a Japanese touch

So, the long-awaited week of Pitti Bimbo 79 has eventually come, and as promised in our previous post (click here), we will dedicate the next fortnight to the international event.
We begin with the newly released spring 2015 previews of one of the Nordic brands that we like the most: Pale Cloud (already hosted on the blog for our spring 2014 yellow selection here). For the new season, the brand’s inspiration comes from the land of the rising sun. This is clearly reflected into the tunic and kimono shapes of the dresses as well as in the new wonderful prints such as the Japanese veiltail fish.
Just like last year, Pale Cloud will be located into the Apartment, the lyceum section of Pitti Bimbo, just in front of the entrance. In January, we couldn’t unfortunately go and meet them during our tour of the fair, but we bet this week nothing will prevent us from doing so!

E così, anche l’attesissima settimana del Pitti Bimbo 79 è finalmente arrivata, e, come promesso nel nostro precedente post (clicca qui), dedicheremo i prossimi quindici giorni all’evento internazionale.
Cominciamo con il recente anteprima della collezione primavera 2015 di uno dei marchi nordici che amiamo maggiormente: Pale Cloud (già ospitato sul blog per la settimana in giallo della primavera del 2014 qui). Per questa stagione, l’ispirazione della marca proviene dalla terra del sol levante. Aspetto questo che viene chiaramente riflesso nelle forme a tunica e a kimono degli impalpabili abitini, così come nelle nuove meravigliose stampe, quali il tipico pesce giapponese “coda a velo”.
Proprio come l’anno scorso, Pale Cloud avrà il proprio stand presso Apartment, negli spazi del Lyceum del Pitti, di fronte all’ingresso. A gennaio non siamo potute purtroppo passare da loro durante il nostro percorso in fiera, ma siamo pronte a scommettere che questa settimana nulla ce lo impedirà!
