Pitti Bimbo 79, the Apartment – stopover 1

It’s through our usual formula of the journey that, once again, we have decided to share with you our favorite things from Pitti Bimbo 79. Here above you can see the path that we have followed for this edition, organised around eight major stopovers.
As anticipated, this time we were determined not to miss the Apartment section, so we chose it as our first stop! This is indeed a very special section of the fair featuring international clothing and accessory collections with an edgy look for a forward-looking audience.
The new setting called “Royal Game” is an ironic interpretation by the designer Ilaria Marelli of the fair’s “ping pong” theme and it recreates the atmosphere of an eighteenth-century palace in which ladies and gentlemen are playing surreal matches!
The brands there were simply amazing. We saw the superb collection of Mischka Aoki and the new pastel shades of Olive by Sisco, we discovered the British style of Caramel Baby & Child and the Indian tradition reinterpreted with a romantic view by Però, and in the end we spent a considerable amount of time with Pale Cloud, admiring the new collection and taking great pics that we will show you closer to the new spring season.

É con la nostra abituale formula del viaggio che, ancora una volta, abbiamo deciso di condividere con voi le cose che ci hanno maggiormente colpito al Pitti Bimbo 79. Qui sopra potete vedere il percorso che abbiamo seguito in questa edizione, organizzato su otto fermate principali.
Come anticipato, questa volta eravamo determinate a non perdere la sezione Apartment, così l’abbiamo scelta come prima tappa! È veramente una parte molto speciale della fiera che propone collezioni internazionali di abbigliamento ed accessori orientate alla ricerca e rivolte a un pubblico all’avanguardia.
Il nuovo set di allestimento, “Royal Game”, è un’interpretazione ironica del tema guida del salone, il “ping pong”, realizzato dalla designer Ilaria Marelli, che ricrea l’atmosfera di un palazzo del XVIII secolo in cui figure nobiliari munite di racchette si sfidano in surreali partite di ping pong!
I marchi erano semplicemente incredibili. Abbiamo visto la superba collezione di Mischka Aoki e le nuove tonalità pastello di Olive by Sisco, abbiamo scoperto lo stile inglese di Caramel Baby & Child e la tradizione indiana reinterpretata in chiave romantica di Però, ed infine abbiamo trascorso una notevole quantità di tempo con Pale Cloud, ammirando la bellissima collezione e facendo molte fotografice che vi mostreremo in prossimità della nuova stagione estiva.
