At Pitti Bimbo, time goes by so quickly, that it’s almost unbelievable! We only had time to eat a rushed lunch of a sandwich and it was time for the second fashion show: Philipp Plein Junior.
We had been welcomed by a radical, although extremely pleasant, change of style and mood, so much that the “Sala della Ronda” was hardly looking like the same place. The catwalk of the show was a Caribbean sandy beach surrounded by dense tropical vegetation full of colorful and fragrant flowers where the joyful Philipp Plein crew enjoyed searching for treasure chests filled with golden doubloons.
For spring 2015, the German brand sent a collection inspired by two themes. The first, “pirate crew”, is characterized by beautiful leather bomber jackets and vests with the signature skull on the back, ton sur ton for boys; embellished with brilliant Swarovski crystals for girls. The second, “nautical”, is inspired by the sea and it features beautiful garments with thick sailor stripes, anchors and hearts embroideries and prints, and white-blue-red combinations.

Al Pitti Bimbo, il tempo passa così velocemente che è quasi incredibile! Abbiamo avuto solo un attimo per mangiare un panino veloce ed era il momento della seconda sfilata: Philipp Plein Junior.
Siamo state accolte da un radicale, ma estremamente piacevole, cambiamento di stile ed atmosfera, tanto che la “Sala della Ronda” si sarebbe detta a stento essere lo stesso posto. La passerella della filata era una spiaggia caraibica, circondata da una fitta vegetazione tropicale piena di coloratissimi e profumatissimi fiori, in cui la gioiosa ciurma di Philipp Plein si aggirava alla ricerca di forzieri pieni di dobloni d’oro.
Per la primavera 2015, il marchio tedesco ha presentato una collezione ispirata principalmente a due temi. Il primo, la “ciurma dei pirati“, è caratterizzato da bellissimi bomber e gilet in pelle con il distintivo teschio sul retro, ton sur ton per i ragazzi; impreziosito da cristalli Swarovski per le ragazze. Il secondo, lo “stile marinaro”, si ispira al mare e raccoglie meravigliosi capi a righe alte, con ancore e cuori ricamati o stampati, e abbinamenti di bianco-rosso-blu.
