Dolce and Gabbana mini me line and the magnificence of the Agrigento temples
About 364 kilometers south of Capri, in another beautiful Italian Island, lies a city which is worldwide known for its extraordinarily rich and vast archaeological legacy: Agrigento. Feared in the past as one of the leading and greatest cities in the ancient Mediterranean world, admired nowadays for its Doric temples preserved in an exceptionally intact condition, the Sicilian city exerts an undeniable magnetism.
So, no wonder that Dolce & Gabbana (whose spring 2014 collection we have already featured here, during our week dedicated to white) have been inspired by this amazing landscape for one of their adult line, which has been fully replicated for kids giving birth to a luxurious breathtaking mini-me collection.
We have selected some pictures for little girls, but we guarantee that the twin line for little boys is at least as stunning!
Circa 364 km a sud di Capri, in un’altra meravigliosa isola italiana, è adagiata una città universalmente nota per il proprio patrimonio archeologico straordinariamente vasto e ricco: Agrigento. Temuta in passato in quanto una delle più grandi e potenti città dell’antico bacino mediterraneo, ammirata ai giorni d’oggi per gli imponenti templi dorici che si sono conservati quasi integralmente intatti, la città siciliana esercita un indubbio magnetismo.
Quindi, non c’è da stupirsi che Dolce & Gabbana (la cui collezione primavera 2014 abbiamo già mostrato qui, durante la settimana dedicata al bianco) abbiano tratto ispirazione da questo straordinario paesaggio per una delle linee della collezioni per adulti, successivamente replicata in quella per i bambini dando vita ad una lussuosa linea mini-me.
