Sunuva fascinating swimwear and beachwear collection
Browsing their summer 2014 collection, we remained fascinated by the beautiful range and original prints, and then, reading their story, we definitely surrender and decided to choose them as the protagonists of today’s post.
Sunuva is a label born out of two London based mums, Emily and Sabrina, who casually met on holiday thanks to their kids recognizing each other from the nursery. Their friendship formed over their mutual frustration at the lack of stylish UV protective children’s swimwear availability and eventually decided to create their own!
All the bright colours of the rainbow have cheerfully painted the collection for girls while the one for boys is characterized by vicious sharks, wild tigers and rhinos, cool skulls, and colourful Indian headdresses. All the swimsuits have coordinated t-shirts and dresses to complete the look. Most importantly: all the fabrics used offer 50+ UPF protection, blocking out more than the 97% of the sun’s harmful rays.
Curiosando online la collezione di questa estate, siamo rimaste affascinate dalle meravigliose proposte e dalla originalità delle stampe, e poi, leggendo la sua storia, ci siamo definitivamente arrese e abbiamo deciso di sceglierlo come protagonista del post di oggi.
Sunuva, è un marchio nato da due mamme che vivono a Londra, Emily e Sabrina, e che si sono incontrate casualmente in vacanza grazie ai propri figli che si sono riconosciuti dall’asilo. La loro amicizia è cresciuta condividendo la frustrazione per la mancanza di costumi da bagno per bambini che fossero alla moda e che proteggessero dai raggi UV e alla fine hanno deciso di crearne uno loro!
Tutti i vivaci colori dell’arcobaleno hanno allegramente dipinto la collezione per ragazze, mentre quella per ragazzi è caratterizzata da squali feroci, tigri e rinoceronti selvaggi, teschi beffardi e colorati copricapi indiani. Tutti i costumi da bagno hanno t-shirt e abitini coordinati per completare il look. Cosa più importante: tutti i materiali utilizzati offrono una protezione UPF 50 +, che blocca più del 97% dei raggi nocivi del sole.
