Cute little snails
There is something in the attraction that children show for snails and slugs that it’s hard to explain from a first glimpse to these slimy little animals. But, if you pause to observe them, and consider the wonder that generates from seeing a tiny creature unexpectedly peeking out from a shell, suspiciously looking around and eventually putting out a couple of funny horns…the reasons become pretty obvious.
As you can see, we are not exempt from the magnetism exerted by these little creatures and we had a great time going around and looking for them, picking them up and looking forward to their awakening, and then looking at them slowly going away and disappearing again through the leaves where we took them from.
C’è qualcosa nell’attrazione che i bambini mostrano per lumachine e chiocciole che è difficile da spiegare dando un primo sguardo fugace a questi animaletti bavosi. Ma se ci si sofferma un attimo ad osservarli, e si considera la meraviglia che genera il vedere una minuscola creatura fare inaspettatamente capolino da una conchiglia, guardarsi attorno in modo circospetto ed infine allungare un paio di divertenti cornetti verso il mondo… il motivo diventa abbastanza ovvio.
Come potete vedere, noi non siamo esenti dal magnetismo esercitato da queste creaturine e ci siamo divertire un sacco girovagando alla loro ricerca, raccogliendole e restando in attesa del loro risveglio per poi vederle lentamente scomparire di nuovo tra le foglioline da dove le avevamo raccolte.
