Monnalisa flowers in the beautiful Milan boutique
To go and see Monnalisa is always a great pleasure, even more so when it happens during a beautiful Friday morning of November, when the warm sun lights up a quiet via della Spiga which is revealed in all its charm, and an unexpected scent of freshly baked bread hits your senses. Exciting!
The collection that was waiting for us inside the boutique was marvellous and so vast to be able to show all the main trends for this winter 2014 season: the timeless elegance of the blue, the Christmas spirit of the tartan combined with black and white, the tapestry fabrics in seducing colours embellished with marabou feathers and tulle petticoats, the inevitable Disney characters, and of course the flowers.
Beautiful rose buds cover warm coats with elegant bows on the pockets and velvet dresses with taffeta inserts, designed for the little ones; while English roses are scattered all over neoprene dresses, skirts and jackets for girls from 2 years up.
For this post we have selected the theme inspired by roses, but we will come back soon with other pictures taken during this special morning with them. Andare a trovare Monnalisa è una cosa che ci fa sempre molto piacere, a maggior ragione quando questo accade in uno splendido venerdì mattina di novembre, con il sole tiepido che riscalda una via della Spiga poco affollata, che si rivela in tutta la sua suggestione, ed un inatteso profumo di pane appena sfornato ti colpisce i sensi. Inebriante!
La collezione che ci stava aspettando all’interno della boutique é meravigliosa e così vasta da raccogliere tutte le principali tendenze della stagione 2014: l’eleganza senza tempo del blu, lo spirito natalizio del tartan abbinato al bianco e al nero, i tessuti tapestry in seducenti colori che vengono impreziositi da capi con piume di Marabou e sottogonne in tulle, gli immancabili personaggi della Disney, e naturalmente i fiori.
Meravigliosi boccioli di rosa ricoprono caldi cappottini con fiocchi applicati sulle tasche e abitini di velluto con inserti in taffeta pensati per le più piccole, mentre rose inglesi sono sparse ovunque su abitini, gonne e giacche in neoprene per le bimbe più grandi.
Per questo articolo abbiamo selezionato il tema ispirato dalle rose, ma torneremo presto con le altre foto scattate durante questa mattinata. Per ora vi lasciamo, ma non senza un ringraziamento speciale ad Elisa e Viviana per il supporto nella preparazione dei capi, a Lina per la calorosa accoglienza e a Barbara per aver reso questo possibile.
