Beige for a lovely Sunday morning around Milan
Scarves and hats are not for us! Although our mother loves them very much, and she keeps saying that not only they keep us warm and dry, but they also give us a distinctive and elegant touch… we are still rather reluctant to wear them.
Last weekend, she decided to go for broke, and began to sing a nursery rhyme about getting dressed encouraging us to put things on in the same order. However, when it was the turn of the hated clothes there was no leg to stand on. We should add that until last week the weather in Italy was quite nice, we did not feel cold, and we did not get upset for not being properly covered. In other words: no way!
As you can see, we decided to take a walk in downtown Milan, and had fun running in the pedestrian area close to the Duomo square. The colour chosen for the outfit was beige, and so it’s the colour selected for the next five posts.
We will show you the matching scarf and hat very soon. Mum’s stubborn and cold is unfortunately at the door!
Sciarpe e cappelli non fanno per noi! Nonostante se la mamma li ami molto e continui a ripetere che non solo tengono caldo, ma donano anche un tocco di eleganza al nostro abbigliamento… siamo ancora decisamente riluttanti ad indossarli.
Lo scorso fine settimana ha deciso di provarle tutte ed ha persino iniziato a cantare una filastrocca che insegna a vestirsi da soli, incoraggiandoci a mettere i vari abitini nell’ordine della rima. Tuttavia, quando è stata la volta degli odiati indumenti non c’è stata filastrocca che tenesse. Si deve aggiungere che fino alla scorsa settimana il tempo in Italia è stato piuttosto bello, che non sentivamo freddo e quindi non ci siamo lamentate per non essere sufficientemente coperte.
Come potete vedere abbiamo deciso di fare una passeggiata in centro a Milano e ci siamo divertite correndo nella zona pedonale vicino alla piazza del Duomo. Il colore scelto per l’occasione é stato il beige che è il colore scelto per i prossimi cinque post.
Vi mostreremo la sciarpa ed il cappellino che si abbinavano molto presto. La mamma è testarda ed il freddo, purtroppo, alle porte!
