Bonpoint pastel selection from fall 2014 catwalk
At the beginning of this year, Bonpoint, the couture house based in Paris and specialized in children’s fashion, has organized a fashion show to present their winter 2014 collection. Held in the flagship boutique located at 6 rue de Trounon, a historic Parisian townhouse dating from the 17th and amazingly decorated with luxury setting, the event has been one of kind.
For fall 2014, Bonpoint has sent a collection that includes four different themes: “Amish Grunge” which encompasses a soft and comfortable wardrobe wisely played between tradition and modernity; “Punk”, a rebellious and carefree style with a nod to the 80s, dominated by bright colours, leather and denim; “School Girl” in which preppy codes are revisited through a retro touch and where we find liberty and flowers motives; and “Pink 50’s” where the 50s inspire a romantic silhouette with soft and spicy colours.
Although we have found it very difficult to make a selection, we have eventually decided to feature the items taken from the Amish Grunge line due to their natural affinity with the topic of this week: beige and pastel colours.

All’inizio dell’anno, Bonpoint, la maison parigina specializzata in abbigliamento per bambini, ha organizzato la propria sfilata di moda per la presentazione della collezione autunno inverno 2014. Svoltasi presso la sontuosa boutique di rue de Trounon, una residenza storica di Parigi risalente al XVII secolo e meravigliosamente decorata con elementi di lusso, la sfilata è stata un evento più unico che raro.
Per l’autunno 2014, Bonpoint propone una collezione che si articola su quattro diversi temi: “Grunge Amish”, che racchiude un guardaroba ampio e confortevole, sapientemente giocato tra tradizione e modernità; “Punk”, uno stile ribelle e sbarazzino con un chiaro rimando agli anni ’80 dove dominano i colori accesi, la pelle e il denim; “School Girl” con codici preppy rivisitati attraverso un tocco retrò, in cui ritroviamo il liberty e i motivi floreali; e per finire, “Pink ’50” in cui gli anni ’50 inspirano una silhouette romantica con colori tenui e frizzanti.
Benché sia stato molto difficile proporvi una selezione, alla fine abbiamo deciso di mostrarvi i capi provenienti dalla linea “Amish Grunge” data la loro naturale affinità con il tema di questa settimana: beige e colori pastello.
Inutile dirlo: buon divertimento!
