Milan window shopping, vetrerie di Empoli – stopover 5
Here we are, once again in via Manzoni walking towards our fifth and last stopover. We turned left at the crossing with Via Montenapoleone, and stopped when we found via Borgospesso. Right at the corner of these two streets is Vetrerie di Empoli boutique.
The ground floor consists of two rectangular rooms: the first is entirely dedicated to collecting glasses from around the world, the others usually contain the rest of the production, mostly carried out in Empoli. During November and December, the underground level is exclusively dedicated to Christmas. We were amazed by the endless choice of decorations, candles, Christmas balls and toys that made this beloved shop even more magical and unique. An experience to be lived for everyone visiting the area.

Eccoci qui, ancora una volta in movimento lungo via Manzoni dirette verso la nostra quinta ed ultima tappa. All’incrocio con via Montenapoleone abbiamo preso a sinistra e ci siamo fermate quando abbiamo trovato via Borgospesso. Proprio all’angolo di queste due strade è situata la boutique di Vetrerie di Empoli.
Il piano terra si snoda lungo due sale rettangolari: la prima è interamente dedicata al collezionismo di calici e bicchieri, le altre generalmente ospitano il resto della produzione prevalentemente realizzata ad Empoli. Nei mesi di novembre e dicembre, il piano di sotto viene dedicato esclusivamente al Natale. Siamo rimaste meravigliate dalla infinita varietà di decorazioni, candele, palline di Natale e giocattoli che rendono questo negozio, che noi amiamo molto, ancora più magico ed unico. Un’esperienza da vivere per chiunque si trovi in zona.
Speriamo che il tour d’inverno delle vetrine di Milano vi sia piaciuto. Il prossimo appuntamento sarà alla fine dell’anno e questa volta cercheremo di pubblicarlo con un po’ più di anticipo.
