Carnival homemade kids costumes, two cute little marionettes (part I)
Carnival is traditionally celebrated 40 days before Easter, which this year means from Thursday the 12nd to Tuesday the 17th of February… this pretty much everywhere, but not in Milan. So, while in the rest of Italy the Carnival ends, we start celebrating it, after fat Tuesday, with parties and parades that last for four days, according to the well-known Ambrosian rite.
To celebrate the upcoming event, we have decided to publish a couple of posts featuring homemade kids costumes realised with the clothes taken from our closet. First up are two funny marionettes costumes: one in blue and the other one in wine red.
Unfortunately, the light was not one to wish for, but we hope you will like those shots anyway!
Notes on clothes:
