Mischka Aoki yellow dreams for spring 2015
It was not accidental that last time we wrote about Mischka Aoki it was while we were exploring the theme “like a princess”. In fact, since launching in 2009, the Australian brand has quickly become loved for its beautiful show-stopping pieces using luxurious fabrics and fairy-tale inspired designs.
So, no wonder that Mischka Aoki’s spring summer 2015 collection, “Commend me to the Dove of the Fairies”, is inspired by an old European version, dated back to the 17th century, of Cinderella: Cenerentola and the glass slipper!
Next to Mischka Aoki’s signature tulle, new in this season are three dimensional floral detailing, realized using cutting edge laser cut techniques, along with metallic leather fabric and satin fringing.
While in addition the more traditional colour of precious gold, dark pink, timeless white and purple, multiple shades of yellow have been incorporated to complete and enrich the already sophisticated colour pallet.
What else? Let’s the story begin!
Non è un caso che l’ultima volta che abbiamo parlato di Mischka Aoki è stato mentre esploravamo il tema “come una principessa”. Infatti, dal lancio avvenuto nel 2009, il marchio australiano è rapidamente diventato famoso per i suoi bellissimi capi realizzati utilizzando tessuti pregiati e dal design di ispirazione fiabesca.
Per questo, non c’è da stupirsi che la collezione primavera estate 2015 di Mischka Aoki, “Raccomandami alla colomba delle fate”, tragga ispirazione da una vecchia versione europea, risalente al 17 ° secolo, di Cenerentola: Cenerentola e la scarpetta di vetro!
Accanto alla tulle ormai assunto a elemento distintivo di Mischka Aoki, le novità di questa stagione sono elementi floreali tridimensionali, realizzati con una tecnologia di taglio laser all’avanguardia, insieme con un tessuto in pelle metallizzata e le frange in raso. Mentre oltre ai colori più tradizionali quali l’oro prezioso, il rosa scuro, il bianco senza tempo ed il viola, molteplici sfumature di giallo sono stati inserite per completare ed arricchire la già sofisticata palett cromatica.
A questo punto, che la fiaba abbia inizio!
