Pitti Bimbo 81, il gufo backstage – stopover 8
At about 10.00 we were entering “sala Della Ronda” from the back entrance, eager to see il gufo backstage. The atmosphere there is so magic and unique that if asked to choose between the backstage and the fashion show itself, we wouldn’t be able to make up our mind so easily.
The entire preparation is always so surprisingly light, and you can see the baby models playing, having fun and truly enjoying it. Soon, we felt the moment approaching: hairstyles coming into place, a touch of blush and a lipstick line appearing here and there, and then the dresses, the stunning dresses.
The kids quickly gathered together for the last check. We went respectfully closer and remained fascinated by the story “…and then take it in your hands, keep it safe, close to your heart, but not too tight, let it breath. Run with it and when you get there, let it go, set it free!” At that time, we could not fully understand the meaning of these words, but during the fashion show all became clear: 32 butterflies bred by professionals were released at the pinnacle of the event… but this is another story and we will tell it another time.
Verso le 10.00 stavamo entrando nella “Sala della Ronda” dall’ingresso posteriore, ansiose di vedere il backstage della sfilata de il gufo. L’atmosfera è così magica ed unica che se ci chiedessero di scegliere tra il backstage e la sfilata stessa, non saremmo in grado decidere così facilmente.
L’intera fase di preparazione è sempre così sorprendentemente facile e si possono vedere i piccoli modelli giocare, divertirsi e apprezzare veramente anche questi momenti. Presto, abbiamo avvertito l’avvicinarsi dell’evento: le pettinature che si materializzavano, un tocco di cipria e una linea di lucida labbra che comparivano qua e là, e poi gli abitini, i meravigliosi abitini.
I bimbi si sono rapidamente riuniti per l’ultimo ripasso e noi ci siamo rispettosamente avvicinate e siamo rimaste affascinate dalla storia “… e poi prendetela tra le mani, tenetela al sicuro, vicino al vostro cuore, ma non troppo stretta, lasciatela respirare. Correte con lei e quando arriverete lì, lasciatela andare, lasciatela libera! “ In quell’istante non abbiamo compreso interamente il significato di queste parole, ma durante la sfilata tutto è diventato chiaro: 32 farfalle allevate da professionisti sono infatti stati liberate al culmine dell’evento… ma questa è un’altra storia, e ve la racconteremo un’altra volta.
