Ralph Lauren spring 2015 discovering the coutryside
The afternoon of the sixth day, we moved West, towards the so called tuff area, a vast region of Maremma characterized by compacted volcanic ash outcrops, bounded by green valleys and rich in Etruscan ruins and ancient towns perfectly preserved.
To properly visit the place, we spent one night in a farm house located in the middle of the countryside. We like to spend our holidays in the middle of nowhere, enjoying the silence and the peace. The girls loved to explore the vineyard and the olive grove next to the house, and to discover the herbs that grew there: rosemary, sage, and lavender.
Moreover, if you follow us on Instagram, you already know that the farmer also bred chicken and rabbits, which they promptly familiarised with!
Il pomeriggio del sesto giorno, ci siamo spostati ad ovest, verso la zona comunemente nota come area del tufo, una vasta regione della maremma caratterizzata da speroni di compatta cenere vulcanica, delimitata da verdi vallate e ricca di resti di insediamenti etruschi e di antichi borghi perfettamente conservati.
Per visitare per bene la regione, abbiamo deciso di trascorrere una notte in un agriturismo situato in piena campagna. Ci piace trascorrere le nostre vacanze nel bel mezzo del nulla e godere del silenzio e della pace della natura. Le bimbe si sono divertire ad esplorare la vigna e l’oliveto adiacente la casa, alla scoperta delle erbe che vi crescevano: rosmarino, salvia e lavanda.
Inoltre, se ci seguite su Instagram, sapete già che il contadino allevava anche polli e conigli con i quali hanno prontamente familiarizzato!
