Into the woods
Over the weekend, we had originally planned to share with you the third couple of costumes belonging to our series dedicated to Halloween. But the terrible events that devastated Paris and shook the whole world, have taken our breath away and left us with no spirit whatsoever to show two joyful babies in disguise.
We preferred to remain silent, trying to digest the horror that we saw and felt from everywhere. We went back home, in the mountains, and stayed close to our loved ones, drawing strength and comfort from the love that grows event stronger in adversity.
We being this week by taking you into the woods around our native village, peaceful places that have been able to relieve our sorrows in old and recent past.
Durante il fine settimana, avevamo originariamente pensato di condividere con voi la terza coppia di costumi della nostra serie dedicata ad Halloween. Ma i terribili eventi che hanno devastato Parigi e scosso il mondo intero, ci hanno tolto il respiro e ci hanno lasciato senza alcuna volontà di mostrarvi due allegre bimbe in maschera.
Abbiamo preferito rimanere in silenzio, cercando di metabolizzare l’orrore che vedevamo e sentivamo da ogni parte. Siamo tornate a casa, in montagna, e siamo state vicine ai nostri cari, traendo forza e conforto da quell’amore che diviene ancora più forte nelle avversità.
Iniziamo questa settimana portandovi nei boschi vicino al nostro paesino nativo, luoghi di pace e tranquillità, capaci di alleviare le nostre tristezze in un passato vicino e lontano.
