Next to Sala della Rotona, near the main entrance. there is an ancient oval structure originally dedicated to store the explosive material of the fortress: the gunpowder magazine.
It’s a fascinating and sophisticated place, so no wonder that Simonetta has chosen it for presenting to the press and its guests “Let the journey begin”, a short movie produced by Pitti Immagine to celebrate Simonetta’s 40 years at Pitti Bimbo (see it here). It’s a very special birthday that celebrates the record attendance of the brand based in Jesi, which dates back to the first edition of Pitti Bimbo and that has never seen an interruption. In the adorable film, Simonetta comes to life, becomes an animated character and brings a little girl on a journey around the world, through all of the themes of past and future collections. Here’s a selection of the pieces that we’ve seen in Florence.
During the event we had the pleasure to spend some time with the family and to see to the fabulous Simonetta winter 2016 collection. Enjoy.
Accanto alla Sala della Rotona, nei pressi dell’ingresso principale, si trova un’antica struttura ovale originariamente adibita a deposito del materiale esplosivo della Fortezza: la polveriera.
E’ un luogo affascinante e sofisticato, quindi non c’è da stupirsi che sia stato scelto da Simonetta per presentare alla stampa ed ai suoi ospiti “Let the journey begin”, un cortometraggio prodotto da Pitti Immagine per celebrare i 40 anni di Simonetta a Pitti Bimbo (vedi qui). E ‘un compleanno molto speciale che celebra il record di presenze del marchio con sede a Jesi, che risale alla prima edizione di Pitti Bimbo e che non ha mai visto un’interruzione. Nel meraviglioso film, Simonetta prende vita, diventa un personaggio animato e porta una bambina in un viaggio intorno al mondo, attraverso tutti i temi delle collezioni passate e future.
Durante l’evento abbiamo avuto il piacere di trascorrere un po’ di tempo con la famiglia e di vedere la favolosa collezione di Simonetta per l’autunno inverno 2016. Vi mostriamo qui una selezione dei capi che abbiamo visto a Firenze.
