Pitti Bimbo 82, Monnalisa backstage – stop 5
“Hurry up! Hurry up!”
We crossed the road in front of Fortezza da Basso and entered the garden of Valfonda, running all the way prepared for Pitti Bimbo visitors.
“Quickly, quickly girls! Make haste Michela, make haste!”
We run along the tangle of streets in front of the railway station and take the road that leads to Santa Maria Novella. A blond curly cloud joyfully swinging at dusk.
“It’s late! Come on Vittoria, move, move”
Oddly enough, the irresistible magnetism of the place is not able to stop us. Just a glance to the majestic cathedral and we are on the go again!
“Turn right, then left. Let’s go, let’s go”
We enter Palazzo Corsini from the back and…
“…”
… we are suspended in a dream, literally overwhelmed by the beauty of the place, the intoxicant athmosphere and the gorgeous creations that Monnalisa presented for fall winter 2016. A dream!
“Presto! Presto!”
Attraversiamo la strada di fronte alla Fortezza per lanciarci attraverso il Giardino Di Valfonda correndo lungo tutto il percorso preparato per accogliere i visitatori di Pitti Bimbo.
“Dai! Muovetevi ragazze! Su Michela, vieni, veloce, veloce!”
Corriamo lungo il groviglio di strade prospicienti la stazione ferroviaria e imbocchiamo la via che porta a Santa Maria Novella. Una nuvola di riccioli biondi che oscilla gioiosa al crepuscolo.
“E’ tardi! Andiamo Vittoria, muoviamoci! Di corsa!”
Strano a dirsi, l’irresistibile magnetismo del luogo non è sufficiente a fermarci. Solo uno sguardo fugace alla maestosa cattedrale e ci lanciamo di nuovo nella corsa!
“Girare a destra… qui a sinistra. Andiamo, andiamo!”
Entriamo dal retro di Palazzo Corsini e…
“…”
…rimaniamo sospese in un sogno, letteralmente travolte dalla bellezza del luogo, dall’inebriante atmosfera e dalle stupende creazioni che Monnalisa ci ha presentato per l’autunno inverno 2016. Un sogno!
