Elsy baby spring summer 2016 for an unforgettable trip to Cesenatico
June the 2nd is a national holiday in Italy that celebrates the Festa della Repubblica. Since this year it was on a Thursday, we could enjoy quite a long weekend and decided to go to the seaside, in Milano Marittima. During one of the afternoons spent there, we took a trip to Cesenatico, also known as the little Venice for the picturesque port-canal designed by Leonardo Da Vinci at the beginning of the XVI century.
We had a great time admiring the historical fishing boats, called “bragozzi”, anchored along the main canal: a parade of colourful sails and wood decorated with symbols of the local families. Garibaldi brought those boats there in 1849 and they did not move since, providing Cesenatico’s canal with a unique enchanting sight.

Il 2 giugno in Italia è un giorno festivo nel quale si celebra la Festa della Repubblica. Visto che quest’anno cadeva di giovedì, ci siamo potute godere un weekend piuttosto lungo e abbiamo deciso di andare al mare, precisamente a Milano Marittima. Durante uno dei pomeriggio trascorsi lì, abbiamo organizzato una passeggiata nella splendida Cesenatico, anche nota con il nome di piccola Venezia per il pittoresco porto-canale disegnato da Leonardo Da Vinci all’inizio del XVI secolo.
Ci siamo divertire un sacco ad ammirare le storiche barche da pesca, chiamate “bragozzi” che sono tutt’ora ancorate lungo il canale principale: una meravigliosa parata di vele e legno colorati recanti i simboli delle antiche famiglie locali. Fu Garibaldi a portare queste barche a Cesenatico nel 1849, e da allora non si sono più mosse da lì, conferendo al luogo un aspetto unico ed incantevole.
Nelle foto qui sotto potete vedere la piccola Alice passeggiare lungo il canale in un adorabile completino bianco e nero della linea baby di Elsy, che abbiamo abbinato con una piccola pochette di Simonetta – ci sembravano un’accoppiata perfetta ed Alice adora giocare con le borsette dei suoi look!
