DIY Halloween kids costumes alice and white rabbit in a very special wonderland

In the year of the launch of “Alice through the Looking Glass”, the sequel to the 2010 movie “Alice in Wonderland”, we could not resist from choosing Alice and the white rabbit as one of our DIY Halloween couple costumes with a human character and his/her animal companion.
Of course, Alice was destined to be Alice since the very beginning, so Anna had to be the white rabbit. For her costume, we took inspiration from the traditional outfit of the Walt Disney white rabbit toy – you can see it in some of the pics below.
This year Monnalisa’s line inspired by Alice in wonderland was perfect for little Alice. The line is simply amazing and the dresses one more stunning than the other is. We chose a sky blue and ivory dress that particularly reminded us to the original Alice’s dress.
Finally, since it is Alice in wonderland, we thought we needed a special setting. It has been a long time that we wanted to try using texture in our photography and the DIY Halloween kids costumes alice and white rabbit was just perfect. They are by Anja De Dobbelaere and we’ve purchased them at Creative Market.

Nell’anno del lancio di “Alice attraverso lo specchio”, il sequel del film “Alice in Wonderland” del 2010, non abbiamo potuto resistere dallo scegliere Alice e il bianconiglio come uno dei costumi fai da te per Halloween ispirati a coppie con un personaggio umano e il suo compagno animale.
Ovviamente, Alice era destinata ad essere Alice sin dal primo istante, così ad Anna è toccato il bianconiglio. Per il suo costume abbiamo preso ispirazione dal look tradizionale del coniglio bianco di peluche realizzato dalla Walt Disney – potete anche vederlo in alcune delle foto qui sotto.
La linea di Monnalisa, ispirata ad Alice nel paese delle meraviglie, ci é sembrata perfetta per la piccola Alice. La troviamo semplicemente meravigliosa e gli abitini sono uno più incantevole dell’altro. Abbiamo scelto un vestitino blu cielo con dettagli in avorio che ci ricordava in modo particolare il vestitino originale di Alice.
Infine, dal momento che stiamo parlando di Alice nel paese delle meraviglie, abbiamo pensato che ci servisse un’ambientazione speciale. E’ da un po’ di tempo che volevamo provare ad utilizzare dei texture nelle nostre fotografie e questa occasione ci è sembrata semplicemente perfetta. I nostri sono stati realizzati da Anja De Dobbelaere e li abbiamo acquistati sul sito Creative Market.
