Thanks God is weekend! These days, mom is travelling a lot for work and when she comes home late at night she’s quite tired, so there isn’t much time left to spend together. Weekends are our refuge and we always try to plan something special to get the most of them. During this one, we decided to go and see grandma in our native village in the mountains. Although in Milan the summer heat has not kicked off yet, here in the mountains the weather is much cooler and far nicer!
The girls are now at the supermarket with their daddy, to get some food for tomorrow morning, and mom is finally able to share these pics with you. We took them with Ariana in April, and we got them from her a while ago, but the editing and the article writing took longer than we thought! We got to know Chloe and her mom during a trip to Turin and enjoyed the way back to Milano together. Next week it will be a long weekend in Italy because Friday, the second of June, is the Italian National Day and Republic Day (“Festa della Repubblica” in Italian). We have a nice trip planned for it and we can’t wait for you guys to see where we are going. Have a nice weekend!
Grazie al cielo è arrivato il fine settimana! In questi giorni la mamma sta viaggiando molto per lavoro e quando torna a casa tardi è piuttosto stanca, quindi non ci rimane molto tempo per stare insieme. Per questo, i fine settimana sono diventati un po’ il nostro rifugio e cerchiamo sempre di progettare qualcosa di speciale per goderceli al massimo. Durante questo, abbiamo deciso di andare a trovare la nonna, nel nostro paese natale tra le montagne. Anche se a Milano il caldo estivo non è ancora scoppiato, qui in montagna il clima è molto più fresco e decisamente più bello!
Le bimbe hanno fatto un salto al supermercato con il papà, per prendere qualche cosa per la colazione di domani e la mamma è finalmente in grado di condividere con voi queste foto. Le abbiamo scattate con Ariana ancora in aprile, e lei ce le ha mandate un po’ di tempo fa, ma la loro formattazione e la scrittura dell’articolo hanno portato via più tempo di quanto avessimo pensato! Abbiamo conosciuto Chloe e la sua mamma durante questa gita a Torino e ci siamo fatte compagna nel viaggio in macchina di ritorno a Milano. Il prossimo fine settimana sarà lungo in Italia, dato che venerdì 2 giugno si celebra la Festa della Repubblica. Abbiamo organizzato un viaggetto e non vediamo l’ora di mostrarvi dove andremo. Buon Weekend a tutti!
