Pitti Bimbo 85 Pero new collection presentation with an adorable picnic
Here we are, finally ready to kick off a new Pitti Bimbo tour with the reportage of our two-days in Florence. Sticking to our traditional format, we’ve wrapped up an itinerary encompassing ten selected destinations: backstage, fashion shows (inside and outside the fortress), stand visits or events, and special projects organised by us in collaboration with some of the brands we usually work with.
Once more, this has been possible thanks to the contribution of our friends from the blog. In particular, Ariana, who has taken most of the pictures that we will publish, and the little models Alessandra, Alessia, Chiara, Emma and Rebecca with their mothers.
We begin with one of the brands that we got to know during one of our first Pitti Bimbo and that we’ve loved since: Pero, the label launched by Aneeth Arora, renowned fashion designer based in New Delhi, India. The spring summer 2018 collection is a mix of old school techniques like smocking, petite point, counted thread embroidery.
For the presentation of their new collection, the brand has organised an adorable picnic in the area of the Arsenale. Beautifully captured by Emily Kornya in the pictures below, this has been one of the most adorable events of this 85th edition. Enjoy!
Eccoci finalmente pronte a partire con un nuovo tour da Pitti Bimbo ed il reportage della due giorni a Firenze. Fedeli al nostro format tradizionale, abbiamo preparto un itinerario che comprende dieci selezionate destinazioni: backstage, sfilate di moda (dentro e fuori dalla fortezza), visite od eventi presso stand, e progetti speciali, organizzati da noi in collaborazione con alcuni dei marchi con cui collaboriamo durante l’anno.
Ancora una volta questo è stato possibile grazie al prezioso contributo degl amici stretti grazie al blog. In particolare, Ariana, che ha scattato la maggior parte delle foto che pubblicheremo, e le piccole modelle Alessandra, Alessia, Chiara, Emma e Rebecca con le loro mamme.
Cominciamo con uno dei marchi che abbiamo conosciuto durante uno dei nostri primi Pitti Bimbo e che dà allora abbiamo fedelmente amato: Pero. Marchio lanciata da Aneeth Arora, stilista di moda basata a Nuova Delhi, in India. La collezione primavera estate 2018 presenta un mix di tecniche sartoriali e di ricamo vintage, tipiche della tradizione indiana.
Per la presentazione della nuova collezione, il marchio ha organizzato un incantevole pic-nic nell’area dell’Arsenale. Meravigliosamente colto da Emily Kornya nelle foto qui sotto, questo è stato uno degli eventi più belli di questa 85a edizione di Pitti Bimbo. Buon divertimento!
