Children’s fashion from Spain Pitti Bimbo 85 and the latest trends made in Spain for Spring Summer 2018

Immediately after the romantic picnic organised by Però for the presentation of their new summer collection (see here), we headed towards sala della Ronda, where Chidren’s fashion from Spain was about to begin. Our regular readers know that this is one of our traditional appointments at Pitti Bimbo, where we can take a sneak peek to the spring summer 2018 trends from Spain (see also here).
The brands presenting their latest collection during this Pitti Bimbo 85 edition were: Artesania Amaya, Barcarola, Boboli, Desigual, Mayoral and Tuc Tuc.
First up was Mayoral, characterized by a dominant nude colour palette with copper and pastel touches for girls. We loved the light beige lace dressed matched with brown belt and bag! For boys: travelgram vibe inspired by the landscapes of the surfing world and of the desert.
Amaya followed immediately after, bringing on the catwalk feminine silhouettes in an elegant retro style a la “Audrey”, characterized by essential lines and pure colours.
Tuc Tuc brought us in a fun and colourful universe where botanical and tropical beach themes combine with urban influences in all-over prints and shiny fabrics.
Barcarola presented Desert Beauty characterized by romantic country dresses: flared trousers, shirts tied at the waist, and jackets with plenty of embroidery, lace, and fringe.
At Boboli, the protagonists of spring summer 2018 are patches, embroidery, and their characteristic prints. The signature element is the bomber jackets that comes up in all the lines.
Finally, Desigual with a collection full of gimmicks to discover: details that glow in the dark, reversible sequins, t-shirts that double as chalkboards and swimwear with prints that are only visible when wet.
We love the dusty desert landscape with abandoned gas stations on the historic Route 66, where they have set this year fashion show, beautifully captured by Ariana in the photos below. Let us know what you think about them xxx

Subito dopo il romantico picnic organizzato da Però per la presentazione della nuova collezione estiva (vedi qui), ci siamo dirette verso la Sala della Ronda dove Chidren’s Fashion From Spain stava per iniziare. I nostri lettori abituali sanno che questo è uno degli appuntamenti tradizionali al Pitti Bimbo, dove possiamo dare un’occhiata alle tendenze per la primavera estate 2018 che arrivano dalla Spagna (vedi anche qui).
I marchi a presentare la loro nuova collezione in questo Pitti Bimbo 85 sono stati: Artesania Amaya, Barcarola, Boboli, Desigual, Mayoral e Tuc Tuc.
Il primo a scendere in passerella è stato Mayoral, caratterizzato da una tavolozza di colori tenui, con un “nude” dominante e tocchi di rame e marrone per le ragazze. Ci è piaciuto moltissimo l’abitino in pizzo beige chiaro abbinato ad una cintura e una borsa marrone! Per i ragazzi: travelgram una tendenza ispirata al mondo del surf e al deserto.
Amaya ha sfilato subito dopo, portando in scena in un elegante e femminile stile retrò, alla “Audrey”, caratterizzata da linee essenziali e tinte unite.
Tuc Tuc ci ha trasportato in un divertente e colorato universo dove temi botanici e tropicali si fondono con influenze urbane in stampe all-over e tessuti brillanti.
Barcarola ha presentato Desert Beauty, caratterizzata da un romanticismo country: pantaloni a zampa di elefante, camicie annodate alla vita e giacche con ricami, pizzi e frange.
Da Boboli, protagonisti della primavera estate 2018 sono toppe, ricami e le caratteristiche stampe. L’elemento essenziale per la nuova stagione è le giacche bomber da aviatore, presente in tutte le linee.
Infine, Desigual, che ha presentato una collezione ricca di elementi nascosti tutti da scoprire: dettagli che brillano al buio, paillettes reversibili che cambiano colore, t-shirt che diventano lavagne e costumi da bagno con stampe visibili solo quando sono bagnati.
Siamo rimaste conquistate dal paesaggio desertico e polveroso, con le stazioni di servizio abbandonate sulla storica Route 66, in cui è stata ambientata la sfilata di quest’anno, splendidamente catturati da Ariana nelle foto qui sotto. Fateci sapere cosa ne pensate xxx
