Rondinella spring summer 2018 Pitti Bimbo 85 : the new Muso collection
We spent the early morning of our second day at Pitti Bimbo in the Sport Generation section of the salon, the one that hosts the big names in sportswear and activewear. As you can easily imagine the focus is on leisure clothing, but we went there mainly because we were interested in shoes! Yes, shoes, in fact this is also the area at Pitti Bimbo with the highest concentration of kid’s shoes stands. We’ve got in contact with new brands, that we will share with you very soon, and we’ve stopped by the brands we collaborate with during the year. Among them is Rondinella (see here)
This year the outside of the stand was designed by the same artist who creates the monsters of “Rondinella muso” collection which, after the big success of this season, will be back for spring summer 2018. The main novelties are: familiar monsters revisited in style and colours – fluorescent in particular will be a strong one – and two new monster-animals: a crab and a mantis. We loved the shoes with sequins and the new green evil-monster characterized by striped horns and Dracula teeth – you can see the in white and camouflage blue. Good news: we’ve already checked, and they will make them in adult sizes too!

Abbiamo trascorso la prima parte della mattina del nostro secondo giorno al Pitti Bimbo nella sezione Sport Generation del salone che ospita i grandi nomi dell’abbigliamento sportivo e dell’activewear. Come potete facilmente immaginare il focus è sui capi pensati per lo svago ed il tempo libero, ma noi ci siamo andate perché eravamo particolarmente interessate alle scarpe! Sì, alle scarpe, infatti questa è anche l’area di Pitti Bimbo con la più alta concentrazione di stand di marchi che producono calzature per bambini. Siamo entrate in contatto con nuovi marchi, che condivideremo molto presto con voi e ci siamo fermate dai marchi con i quali collaboriamo durante l’anno. Tra questi vi è Rondinella (vedete anche qui)
Quest’anno la parte esterna dello stand è stata disegnata dalla stessa artista che crea i mostri della collezione “Rondinella muso”, collezione che, dopo il grande successo di questa stagione, tornerà per la primavera estate 2018. Le novità principali sono: i mostri ormai familiari rivisitati in stile e colori – in particolare i colori fluo saranno di grande tendenza – e due nuovi mostri- animali: un granchio e una mantide. Ci hanno conquistato le scarpe con paillettes ed il nuovo mostro-diavolo verde caratterizzato da corna a righe e denti da Dracula – le potete vedere sia in bianco che in azzurro militare. Una buona notizia: abbiamo già controllato e le realizzeranno anche in taglie adulti!
