Around Orbetello and Paesaggino spring summer 2017 flowers
We spent the last week of our summer holiday in a farmhouse about 30 kilometres far from the sea. We wanted a cool place where not to suffer this year incredible heat and, at the same time, from which to easily reach the beautiful beaches of Orbetello: Feniglia and Giannella.
We like the Feniglia beach, for the fine and white sand and the clear and clean water. There are some bath establishments with beach bars, but it is mainly free and in some spots even wild. The low backdrop and the wind-sheltered area make it particularly suitable for kids. In addition, behind the beach lies the beautiful pine forest of the Duna Feniglia Nature Reserve where it is possible to spot deer.
We used to leave the farmhouse early in the morning and spend the whole day at the sea. The girls like to have picnics and so they love having lunch under the beach umbrellas arranged as Arab tents.
We’ve taken the photos that you see below in our farmhouse one evening before dinner. As you can see, our garden was embellished by a huge willow. How do you like them?
Abbiamo trascorso l’ultima settimana della nostra vacanza estiva in un agriturismo a circa 30 chilometri dal mare. Volevamo un luogo fresco dove non soffrire il caldo torrido di questa estate e allo stesso tempo dal quale raggiungere facilmente le splendide spiagge di Orbetello: Feniglia e Giannella.
Ci piace in modo particolare la spiaggia della Feniglia, che conoscevamo da anni precedenti, per la sabbia fine e chiara e per le acque limpide e pulite. Vi si possono trovare alcuni stabilimenti balneari con dei piccoli bar, ma per la maggior parte la spiaggia è libera ed in alcuni punti addiritura selvaggia. Il fondale basso e la zona riparata dal vento la rende particolarmente adatta per i bambini. Inoltre ci si arriva facendo una passeggiata nella splendida pineta della Riserva Naturale Duna Feniglia dove è possibile vedere dei daini.
Generalmente lasciavamo l’agriturismo di mattina presto e trascorrevamo tutta la giornata al mare. Alle bimbe piace molto fare dei pic-nic e quindi si sono divertire molto a pranzare sotto gli ombrelloni allestiti come tende arabe.
Le foto che vedete qui sotto sono state scattate nel nostro agriturismo una sera prima di cena. Come potete vedere, il nostro giardino era abbellito da un enorme salice al quale non abbiamo potuto resistere. Cosa ne dite? Vi piacciono?
