A weekend in Genoa with Magil spring summer 2017
This July, we spent a lovely weekend in Genoa, the fascinating port-city, capital of northwest Italy’s Liguria region. The idea behind the trip dated back to Pitti Bimbo 85 when we decided to organize a shooting session with Ariana and Magil spring summer 2017. Unfortunately the plan got a bit messed up along the way and in the end Ariana could not come, so we went only with mom.
We spent the afternoon of the first day playing with Costanza and Diletta, two girls that we knew from Pitti Bimbo, while mom was taking the pictures. We then moved to the port area for the night. Anna chose to sleep on a boat anchored there. We checked in and strolled around the charming area ending having dinner in one of the many restaurants available there. The hotel-boat offered the girls an incredible night in a unique place and gave the overall weekend an unforgettable touch – the price was almost the same of an average hotel. The day after we woke up early and spent the morning visiting the great aquarium of the city, but we will tell you about this in another post.

In luglio abbiamo trascorso un piacevolissimo fine settimana a Genova, l’affascinante porto-città, capitale della Liguria. L’idea alla base del viaggio risale a Pitti Bimbo 85, quando con Ariana e Magil, abbiamo deciso di realizzare un post sul blog con la loro collezione estiva. Purtroppo il piano si è un po’ complicato con il passare del tempo e alla fine Ariana non è più riuscita a venire, quindi siamo andate solo con la mamma.
Abbiamo trascorso il pomeriggio del primo giorno a giocare con Costanza e Diletta, due bimbe che abbiamo conosciuto al Pitti Bimbo, mentre la mamma faceva le foto. Ci siamo poi trasferite nella zona del porto per trascorrere la notte dal momento che Anna aveva scelto di dormire su una barca. Abbiamo fatto check-in e trascorso la serata a spasso per questa zona affascinante finendo per cenare in uno dei tanti ristoranti disponibili. La barca-hotel ha offerto alle bimbe una notte incredibile, in un posto unico, ed ha conferito al fine settimana un tocco indimenticabile – il prezzo é stato di fatto pari a quello di un hotel di media categoria. Il giorno successivo ci siamo svegliate presto e abbiamo visitato lo spettacolare acquario della città… ma di questo vi parleremo in un altro post.
