Autumn in Milan: let it rain
As our regular readers know, we did not grow up in Milan and it took us a while to get used to the hectic pace of this multifaced city – to be honest, this is actually true for mom and dad, not for the girls. Having leaved here for about twenty years, has given us the time to discover it and, to a certain extent, to fell in love with it.
The season we like the most is with no doubt fall. Autumn in Milan is fascinating: the colours of the parks, the numerous events – among which the fashion week – and the Christmas lights. Milan dressed for the holiday season is irresistible!
But there is time for Christmas and we have lots of projects goingo for it. So, let’s go back to our autumn in Milan. Ariana took those pictures at the beginning of November, during a warm and sunny afternoon, and sweet Amelia could not resist the water of the fountains in Gae Aulenti. Can you see whay?

Come i nostri lettori abituali sanno, non siamo cresciuti a Milano e c’è voluto un po’ di tempo per abituarci ai ritmi frenetici di questa poliedrica città – per la verità, pensandoci bene, questo vale più per mamma e papà, che non per le bimbe… L’aver vissuto qui per circa vent’anni, ci ha dato il tempo di scoprirla e, in un certo qual modo, di finire per amarla.
La stagione che ci é più cara è senza dubbio l’autunno: i colori di cui si tingono i suoi parchi, i numerosi eventi che vengono organizzati – tra cui la settimana della moda – e le sfarzose luci di Natale. Milano vestita a festa per Natale ha un fascino irresistibile!
Ma per le luci di Natale c’é ancora un po’ tempo, promettiamo che ve le mostreremo presto. Ora torniamo all’autunno. Ariana ha scattato quelle foto all’inizio di novembre, durante un pomeriggio caldo e soleggiato, e la dolce Amelia non è riuscita a resistere all’acqua della fontana di Gae Aulenti. Capite perché?
