Children’s fashion from Spain Pitti Bimbo 86 and the trends made in Spain for Fall Winter 2018

FKF never stop! Back from Florence on Friday night, we immediately started to work on the reportage of this Pitti Bimbo winter edition, and we are now ready to kick it off. Sticking to our traditional format of the tour (see also here), we’ve wrapped up an itinerary encompassing ten selected destinations: backstage, fashion shows, stand visits, events, and special projects.
We begin our Pitti Bimbo 86 tour from sala della Ronda with Children’s fashion from Spain: the very first fashion show of the fair that took place on Thursday morning. In this edition, the fall winter 2018 – 2019 trends from Spain have been presented by seven brands: Barcarola, Boboli, Desigual, Foque, Mayoral, Tartaleta and Tuc Tuc. The setting was a classroom where the teacher was patiently waiting at his desk for the kids to get to design master class. Subject: the upcoming fall winter 2018 – 2019 season.
First kids in the class were modelling outfits from Boboli. On impalpable red tulle skirts or on warm green jersey garments, black leopard will dress our girls next year. Items for trendy total looks or to be combined with comfy jackets to wear over t-shirts with the signature Boboli prints.
The bell rang and the new “students” attending the class were wearing Tartaleta fall winter 2018 – 2019 collection. On stage a romantic urban-chic collection characterized by delicate pastel or grey shades on comfortable shapes.
Mayoral followed immediately after, bringing to class two different type of “pupils”. The “good ones”: boys with blazers and shirts, and girls in Glen plaid dresses and skirts. The “bad ones”: boys with ripped denim in dark faded tones and quilted gilets, and girls with checked shirts or jackets over printed t-shirts. Black, greys, whites and red are the signature colours of both collections.
The bell rang again and Desigual was in the class with a strong and colourful collection full of contrasting details: reversible sequins, patches and flower prints with a gipsy touch.
Then it was the turn of Foque’s collegial style. Rigorously played in red, blue and white, it’s embellished with bows and frills for girls, with ties and scarfs for boys. We think it is just perfect for September back to school!
The girls in Barcarola brought to class a sophisticated style where faux fur is the protagonist of the outwear: as main fabric, for sophisticated details – wrists and collars in particular – but also on hair accessories and bags.
Finally, the Tuc Tuc gang brought us in a fun and colourful universe where botanical and stripy themes combine with urban influences in all-over prints.

FKF non si ferma mai! Tornate da Firenze venerdì sera, abbiamo immediatamente iniziato a lavorare al reportage di questa edizione invernale di Pitti Bimbo ed ora siamo pronte per condividerlo con voi. Seguendo il nostro tradizionale format del tour (potete vederlo anche qui), abbiamo preparato un itinerario che comprende dieci selezionate destinazioni: backstage, sfilate di moda, visite od eventi presso stand, e progetti speciali. Pronte? Partiamo!
Iniziamo il nostro tour di Pitti Bimbo 86 dalla sala della Ronda con Chidren’s fashion from Spain: la prima sfilata di moda del salone svoltasi giovedì mattina. In questa edizione, le tendenze spagnole per l’autunno inverno 2018 – 2019 sono state presentate da sette marchi: Barcarola, Boboli, Desigual, Foque, Mayoral, Tartaleta e Tuc Tuc. L’ambientazione è un’aula scolastica, in cui l’insegnante attende pazientemente in catterdra che i ragazzi si presentino per la lezione del master di moda. Argomento: la prossima stagione autunno inverno 2018 – 2019.
I primi “studenti” arrivano in classe indossando gli abiti di Boboli. Su impalpabili gonne in tulle rosso oppure su caldi capi di jersey verde, l’anno prossimo sarà la stampa leopardata a vestire le nostre ragazze. Potremo scegliere il total look oppure l’abbinamento con comode giacche da indossare sopra le t-shirt dalle iconiche stampe Boboli.
Al suono della campanella entrano in classe nuovi “studenti” indossando la proposta di Tartaleta per l’autunno inverno 2018 – 2019. Sul palco una romantica collezione urban-chic caratterizzata da delicati colori pastello o grigio chiaro che prendono vita su forme ampie e comode.
Ha fatto seguito Mayoral, che ha portato in classe due diversi tipi di “alunni”. I “bravi ragazzi”: maschi con blazer e camicia; femmine in abiti e gonne principe di Galles. I “cattivi ragazzi”: maschi con calzoni in denim strappato, dai toni scuri e sfumati, abbinati a gilet imbottiti; femmine con camicie a scacchi oppure giacche-chiodo indossate sopra t-shirt serigrafate. Nero, grigio, bianco e rosso i colori dominanti entrambe le collezioni.
La campanella suona di nuovo e Desigual entra in classe con una collezione forte e colorata ricca di dettagli a contrasto: paillettes reversibili, grandi patch e una combinazione di stampe floreali che richiama lo spirito gitano.
Poi è stato il turno dello stile collegiale di Foque. Rigorosamente giocato in rosso, blu e bianco, viene impreziosito da fiocchi e balze per le ragazze; da cravatte e sciarpe per i ragazzi. Crediamo sia perfetto il back to school di settembre!
Le ragazze di Barcarola hanno portato in classe uno stile elegante e sofisticato in cui l’eco-pelliccia è protagonista indiscussa soprattutto del capospalla: come tessuto principale, oppure usata per raffinati dettagli – polsini e colletti in particolare – ma anche su accessori per capelli e borse.
Ha chiuso la banda Tuc Tuc portandoci in un universo divertente e colorato in cui temi botanici e a righe si combinano con influenze urbane su stampe all-over.
