– A pair of socks or slippers.

– A bib.
– A hat – often listed in the essentials, we’ve never used it. To be evaluated based on external temperatures.
– A jacket or a jumpsuit – this is for winter babies only. We’ve always get along with the blanket above, and a second one on top.

We have kept this point separated because you should to check with the hospital what it provides. In our case it was not providing anything, so we brought everything, but it is often the opposite.

Cosa mettere nella valigia dell’ospedale per il bambino? Questo è un punto a cui le future mamme dovrebbero pensare tra la 37esima e la 38esima settimana di gravidanza. Noi siamo quelle dell’ultimo minuto e l’abbiamo preparata un po’ dopo, ma è consigliabile farlo per tempo e con la dovuta calma.
In questo post, ci concentreremo su cosa mettere nella valigia dell’ospedale per il bambino, ma è altrettanto importante preparare il necessario per la mamma e per chi le starà accanto. Il nostro suggerimento è di limitarsi al necessario. Se è vero infatti che non bisogna dimenticare nulla, allo stesso tempo non è consigliabile sovraccaricarsi di cose che poi non verranno usate, anche perché spesso lo spazio disponibile in ospedale è limitato. Per questo, abbiamo suddiviso la nostra lista in “indispensabile” ed “utile” così che possiate scegliere voi.

La buona notizia è che i neonati hanno davvero bisogno di poche cose, per questo la lista dell’indispensabile è abbastanza breve.
– Quattro o cinque body – qui il consiglio è di prenderli aperti davanti perché più semplici da far indossare.
– Quattro o cinque tutine.
– Un paio di calzini o babbucce.
– Un vestitino per il rientro a casa
– Una copertina – per nostra esperienza, tenere il bimbo avvolto in una copertina durante l’allattamento, così che si scaldi e sappia di mamma, lo aiuta a rimanere rilassato quando viene riposto nella sua culletta. Inoltre serve nel viaggio di ritorno a casa.
In generale per l’abbigliamento, a meno che non siate certi delle dimensioni del bimbo, vi consigliamo di portare un po’ di capi in taglia 0 e in taglia 3 mesi. Inoltre, alcuni ospedali richiedono che l’occorrente per il neonato sia riposto in singoli sacchetti con indicato il nome e il cognome. Informatevi quindi presso la vostra struttura.

– Un camicino della fortuna – noi lo abbiamo sempre preso per tutte le bimbe e lo conserviamo per ciascuna di loro come ricordo, ma chi vuole ne può fare sicuramente a meno!
– Un paio di guantini anti-graffio – questi possono essere sostituiti con i calzini…anche se meno eleganti, sono parimenti funzionali!
– Una bavaglia.
– Una cuffietta – elencata spesso tra le cose necessarie, noi non l’abbiamo mai usata. Da valutare in base alle temperature esterne.
– Un giubbino o un tutone – questo solo per i nati in inverno. Noi ce la siamo sempre cavata con la copertina di cui sopra e una seconda, più grande, da riporre sopra.

Abbiamo tenuto separato questo punto perché conviene verificare con la struttura ospedaliera dove si partorirà se i prodotti per l’igiene vengono forniti oppure no. Nel nostro caso non c’erano, quindi li abbiamo portati, ma spesso accade il contrario.
– Una confezione di pannolini da neonato.
– Una crema anti arrossamento per il sederino.
– Un detergente e un olio idratante.
– Una confezione di salviettine umidificate.

Dobbiamo confessare che per noi questa volta è stato piuttosto semplice, non solo perché si trattava della terza bimba, ma anche perché Anna e Alice hanno voluto aiutare la mamma. Nelle foto qui sotto, le vedete entrambe all’opera… che poi si è trasformata in un divertente gioco sul lettone tra risa e salti in aria.
Con questo post iniziamo una nuova serie dedicata ai neonati, per celebrare la nascita della nostra piccola Aurora. Inizialmente avevamo pensavamo di pubblicarli il venerdì (giorno in cui è nata), ma ogni settimana ci ritrovavamo in ritardo e decidevamo di posticipare. Così sono passati ben 5 mesi!!!
