Let’s face it, before a baby start walking she doesn’t “need” shoes. Socks can do it and bare feet are fine most of the time. Having said so, there are context in which, although not strictly needed, baby shoes are undoubtedly very useful.
When the weather is cold, baby shoes or baby booties can keep her little feet warmer and more protected than just a pair of socks. Protection, mainly from bumps and scratches, becomes key when the baby begins to crawl and move around the house. Then, if you have a formal event or a ceremony, it is recommended to use a pair of baby shoes, not being very elegant to leave your baby in her socks or barefoot.

Detto questo, ci sono delle situazioni in cui, sebbene non strettamente necessarie, le scarpine per neonati risultano senza dubbio molto utili.
Quando fa freddo, le scarpine o gli stivaletti per neonati riescono a tenere i loro piedini più caldi e protetti rispetto ad un semplice paio di calze. La protezione, principalmente da urti e graffi, diventa poi rilevante nel momento in cui il piccolo inizia a gattonare e a muoversi per casa. Infine, se si deve partecipare ad una cerimonia o un altro evento formale, è consigliabile usare delle scarpine da neonato, non essendo molto elegante portare il bimbo in calzini o a piedi nudi.
Ma come scegliere le scarpine giuste per il neonato? Abbiamo preparato una serie di punti da considerare.

First, pre-walking shoes must be very flexible. They do not have to limit the movement of your baby’s little feet, on the contrary they must let them bend and move as though the baby is barefoot.

Second, they must be made with high quality material. Lightweight materials, such as leather, cloth or canvas are perfect. They must be soft and do not rub your baby’s feet, letting them breathe comfortably and holding the warmth inside.

Third, must have a soft and adjustable closure. Infants are notorious for kicking off their shoes, so their closure should allow to firmly secure them without leaving marks when you remove them. Velcro and snaps are among the best closures.

Finally, they should fit your baby outfit. Ah ah… we couldn’t say anything different, could we?

In primo luogo, le scarpine devono essere flessibili. Non devono limitare il movimento dei piedini del vostro bimbo, al contrario devono piegarsi ed adattarsi quasi come se fosse a piedi nudi.

Secondo, devono essere realizzate con materiali di alta qualità. Materiali leggeri, come la pelle, il tessuto e la tela sono perfetti. Devono essere morbidi, non irritare strofinando i piedini, e devono lasciarli respirare mantenendo il calore all’interno.

In terzo luogo, devono avere una chiusura soffice e regolabile. I neonati sono famosi per togliersi le scarpine scalciando, quindi la chiusura deve consentire di legarle con fermezza, senza lasciare segni. Velcro e bottoncini automatici sono tra le chiusure migliori e sono molto semplici da usare.

Infine, le scarpine devono adattarsi perfettamente all’outfit che avete scelto! Ah ah … avremmo mai potuto dire diversamente?

Interamente realizzate a mano in Italia dal 1983, le scarpine ABA sono prodotte utilizzando solo materiali di alta qualità. Non siamo riuscite a scegliere tra le ballerine bianche con doppio cinturino e le argento con una chiusura laterale. Quindi… le abbiamo prese entrambe!
