Stripe a pose! Maelie spring summer 2018

Always in style, never boring, stripes are one of the protagonist of this spring summer season.
Long time has passed since Coco Chanel brought down the catwalk for the first time the nautical-inspired elegance, but season after season the fashion system continues to rediscover the charm of the nautical style, unable to resist the allure that the timeless striped pattern gives to any look.

É trascorso parecchio tempo da quando Coco Chanel ha portato per la prima volta sulle passerelle dell’alta moda l’eleganza dello stile nautico, ma, stagione dopo stagione, il sistema-moda continua a riscoprirne il fascino, incapace di resistere all’attrazione che l’intramontabile fantasia a righe conferisce a qualsiasi look.

We’ve already mentioned (here) that stripes are one of the top spring summer 2018 trends. So, here is another post about it.

We must confess that we have a soft spot for the nautical style… as you can see from the multiple posts that we have on the blog about it (here)! And call us boring, but there is something about the blue and white pattern, the kind of a classic, that we just love and we prefer it among the various versions and interpretations.

Stripe a pose! Tendenze moda per la primavera estate 2018

Avevamo già accennato (qui) al fatto che le righe sono una delle più forti tendenze moda per la primavera estate 2018. Quindi, ecco pronto un altro post al riguardo.

Dobbiamo confessare che abbiamo un debole per lo stile nautico… come per altro potete ben vedere dai numerosi post che abbiamo al riguardo sul blog (qui)! E chiamateci pure noiose, ma c’è qualcosa nel motivo bianco e blu, insomma proprio quello classico, che ce lo fa amare e preferire alle varie versioni ed interpretazione.

Maelie spring summer 2018 stripes – Emma and Giorgia

For spring summer 2018, Maelie has brought a line in blue and white characterized by some items with nautical horizontal lines.

For Emma we have selected a stripy sleeveless dress with ruffles characterized by sophisticated skirt with longer sides. We have completed the look with a pair of white ballerinas.

For Giorgia we have selected a short sleeves t-shirt with a ruffle on the left. We have completed the look with a pair of skinny white trousers and a pair of sneakers.

Le righe di Maelie primavera estate 2018 – Emma e Giorgia

Per la primavera estate 2018, Maelie propone una linea in bianco e blu caratterizzata da alcuni capi con linee orizzontali dallo stile nautico.

Per Emma abbiamo scelto un abito a righe senza maniche con delle ruches caratterizzato da una gonna sofisticata più lunga ai lati. Abbiamo completato il look con un paio di ballerine bianche.

Per Giorgia abbiamo selezionato una t-shirt a maniche corte con un volant sulla sinistra. Abbiamo completato il look con un paio di pantaloni skinny bianchi e un paio di sneakers.

Maelie spring summer 2018 stripes – the shooting

With Ariana we originally planned to take these pictures along one of Turin’s rivers bank, but when we arrived there it was bucketing down so we had to re-plan the location.

We thought that Parco Dora could do it with its aesthetic impact based on the quality of the industrial remains.

On seeing the result, we are so glad that it happened. We love the light, the colours and the visual effect of these pics. What do you think?

Le righe di Maelie per la primavera estate 2018 – lo shooting

Con Ariana avevamo originariamente pianificato di scattare queste foto lungo le sponde di uno dei fiumi che scorrono a Torino, ma quando siamo arrivate diluviava e abbiamo dovuto rivedere la location per lo shooting.

Abbiamo pensato che il Parco Dora potesse fare al caso nostro, grazie al suo forte impatto estetico dovuto ai resti delle installazioni industriali.

Vedendo il risultato, siamo felicissime di aver dovuto ripensare la location. Adoriamo la luce, i colori e l’effetto visivo di queste foto. Voi cosa ne pensate?
