Total look Vichy print – yes or no?

Pretty, preppy fabric, gingham print is everywhere this summer and we couldn’t be happier!
Whether it is in the classic black and white or rendered in one of the season’s trendiest colors, we’re not discriminating: we’ll take it all. Also known as Vichy print, this amazing fabric is one of our favorites for the elegant touch that gives on the outfits for both kids and adults.
But, how to wear gingham print?
If you google it, you’ll find lots of articles explaining how to wear gingham print. From hints of it in shoe details or accessories, to bold printed pants and jackets, there are so many ways to wear gingham combining it with other colours or fabrics. We will come back to this topic very soon on our kids fashion blog!

Simpatica e un po’ preppy, la stampa Vichy è ovunque quest’estate e noi non potremmo esserne più felici!
Che venga proposta nel classico bianco e nero oppure declinata in uno dei colori più alla moda della stagione, noi non ci formalizziamo: la scegliamo sempre e comunque. Tradotta in inglese come “gingham print”, la stampa a quadretti è infatti una delle nostre preferite, soprattutto per il tocco elegante che dona agli outfit e questo vale sia per i piccoli che per i più grandi.
Ma come indossare la stampa Vichy?
Se lo cercate su Google, troverete molti articoli che spiegano come indossare la stampa Vichy. Da accenni sulle scarpe o sugli accessori, ai pantaloni o alle giacche a quadretti, ci sono moltissimi modi per indossarla combinandola con altri colori in tinta unita o altri tessuti. There is no doubt that the “it” print for this summer 2018 is gingham!

We’ve seen it various colour, mainly blue, red and pink (lots of style in pink!)… but if we had to choose, we would go for the classic black and white.

Non c’è dubbio che la stampa per eccellenza di per questa estate 2018 sia la stampa Vichy!

L’abbiamo vista in molteplici colori, principalmente blu, rosso e rosa – in verità, moltissimo nel rosa… ma se dovessimo scegliere, opteremmo per il classico bianco e nero.

For our total look gingham print, we chose this two pieces from L:u’ L:u’ by Miss Grant spring summer 2018. A blouse with three quarter sleeves that we matched with a pair of skinny Capri. We had seen the blouse last June during Pitti Bimbo 85 (see here) when we combined it with a pair of black trousers…

Total look in stampa Vichy – la collezione primavera estate 2018 di L:U L:U by Miss Grant

Per il nostro total look in stampa Vichy abbiamo scelto questi due capi della collezione primavera estate 2018 di L:u ‘L:u’ by Miss Grant: una giacca con maniche svasate a tre quarti che abbiamo abbinato ad un paio di calzoni capri aderenti. Avevamo visto la giacca lo scorso giugno durante Pitti Bimbo 85 (vedi qui) quando l’avevamo abbinata ad un paio di calzoni neri…
