If you follow us on our social, you know that we spend our Easter holidays in Dubai! We will progressively share all the details about this trip with some hints on how to go to Dubai with kids and on a budget. So, this is only the first of a series of blog posts that we will group under the hashtag #Dubai2019.
We took the pictures below visiting one of Dubai’s main attractions and currently the world’s tallest building: the Burj Khalifa. We booked our ticket in advance online – here – to ensure we got the day and time we wanted, and to avoid a long que at the desk. We eventually opted for the observatory at the Top of Burj Khalifa (level 125 and 124) and selected a prime hour ticket, to get the most of the sunset light. We chose the 6.00PM one, but if we had to do it again, we would go for the 5.00PM because the sun went down very quickly.
Thanks to one of the world’s fastest elevators, we went from ground floor to level 124 in around a minute. That’s a speed of 10 metres per second and it’s impressive, although incredibly smooth, as you can see on our video on IGTV! Once at the top, we spent some time admiring the beauty of the city and enjoying the sunset on the outdoor deck at level 124. We spent the rest of the day playing in the suggestive Burj park and admiring the captivating water play of the Dubai fountain on the Burj lake.
The girls were wearing three dresses from Simonetta spring summer 2019 collection. Unfortunately, we could not take a picture of the three together because Alice fall asleep after the Burj Khalifa!

Se ci seguite sui nostri canali social, sapete che abbiamo trascorso le vacanze di Pasqua a Dubai! Condivideremo progressivamente tutte le informazioni di questo meraviglioso viaggio con alcuni suggerimenti su come andare a Dubai con i bambini e avendo a disposizione un certo budget. Quindi, questo è solo il primo di una serie di blog post che raggrupperemo sotto l’hashtag #Dubai2019.
Abbiamo scattato le foto che vedete qui sotto ad una delle principali attrazioni di Dubai, attualmente l’edificio più alto del mondo: il Burj Khalifa. Abbiamo acquistato i nostri biglietti online con un po’ di anticipo – qui – per assicurarci il giorno e l’ora che volevamo ed evitare un po’ di fila all’ingresso. Noi abbiamo scelto l’osservatorio At the top, Burj Khalifa (piani 125 e 124) con un biglietto nelle ore migliori, per goderci l’atmosfera della luce del tramonto. Abbiamo scelto il biglietto delle 18.00PM, ma se dovessimo tornare indietro, prenderemmo quello delle 17.00 perché il sole è sceso molto velocemente.
Grazie ad uno degli ascensori più veloci al mondo, siamo passati dal piano terra al livello 124 in circa un minuto. È una velocità di 10 metri al secondo ed è impressionante, anche se incredibilmente impercettibile, come potete vedere dal nostro video su IGTV! Arrivati in cima, abbiamo trascorso un po’ di tempo ad ammirare la bellezza della città godendoci il tramonto sulla terrazza esterna al piano 124. Abbiamo trascorso il resto della giornata giocando nel suggestivo Burj park e ammirando gli affascinanti giochi d’acqua della fontana di Dubai sul lago Burj.
Le bimbe indossavano tre splendidi abitini della collezione primavera estate 2019 di Simonetta! Sfortunatamente, non siamo riuscite a scattare una foto di tutte e tre insieme perché Alice si addormenta dopo la salita al Burj Khalifa, ah ah!
