It all started with the clothes! Just the opposite of what it should be. Yes, because traditionally a fashion editorial begins with the concept and the location and it ends with the styling, while in this case we started right with the clothes.
We were looking at the proposal for this season and we bumped into these shirts from Fun Fun spring summer 2019 collection. We fell in love with the white crop t-shirt with the red lips – lèvres rouges in French – print on the front first. Then, we found the red shorts and the twin shirt… at this stage the styling was practically completed! The red satin bomber jacket with “NYPD” was the final touch!
This is when the drive-in concept idea came into place and so we decided to complete the looks with a pair of white classical roller (thanks Raffaela for the procurement!) and two pair of red cheerleader pompoms. Emma and Kayla were the inevitable choice for this type of work. Ariana found the location, America Graffiti, and on seeing the result, we think it is just perfect for this shooting! America graffiti e la collezione primavera estate 2019 di Fun Fun
Tutto è iniziato con i capi! Proprio l’opposto di quello che dovrebbe essere! Ebbene sì, perché tradizionalmente, un editoriale di moda – di moda bimbo in questo caso, ma poco importa – inizia con la scelta del concept creativo e della location, per poi finire con lo styling. In questo caso, noi abbiamo iniziato proprio dalla fine.
Stavamo guardando le proposte per questa stagione estiva – per altro sembra che finalmente con il caldo ci siamo! – quando abbiamo trovato queste magliette dalla collezione primavera estate 2019 di Fun Fun. Ci siamo prima innamorate della crop bianca con la stampa delle labbra rosse – lèvres rouges in francese- sul davanti. Poi, abbiamo trovato i pantaloncini rossi e la blusa gemella in variante modello colore… a questo punto lo styling era stato praticamente completato! Il bomber in raso rosso con la scritta “NYPD” è stato il tocco finale!
E’ a questo punto che l’idea del drive-in si è fatta strada e così abbiamo deciso di completare i look con un paio di sneaker bianche, alternate a un paio di roller classici bianchi (grazie ancora a Raffaela per l’acquisto!), e due paia di pompon rossi da cheerleader. Emma e Kayla sono state la scelta inevitabile visto il tipo di lavoro. Infine, Ariana ha trovato la location, America Graffiti, e vedendo il risultato, pensiamo che sia perfetta per questo shooting!
