Imoimo kids spring summer 2019 visiting Villa Monastero lake Como
Summer days have eventually arrived and this time they are for real, not just on the calendar!The bad spring weather this year (see also here) has prevented us from having as much outdoor time as we wanted, and from organising the out-of-town excursions and the picnics that we adore. The girls just couldn’t wait.
Last weekend we finally took the first trip of this summer season and we went to see beautiful Varenna. Lying on Lake Como, Varenna is a medieval village founded by fishermen and characterised by a stunning shore surrounded by colourful houses built close to each other. We had lunch in a nice bar with a terrace over the lake and then strolled around the staircases and the steep paths of the historical centre. In the end, we took the pedestrian walk along the lake shore that led us directly to the gorgeous Villa Monastero – this is where we took the photos that you see below. La collezione primavera estate 2019 di Imoimo kids a Villa Monastero
L’estate è finalmente arrivata, e questa volta è per davvero, non solo sul calendario! La terribile primavera di quest’anno (vedete anche qui) ci ha di fatto impedito di trascorrere tutto il tempo all’aria aperta che avremmo voluto e di organizzare le gite fuori porta ed i picnic che amiamo tanto. Alle bimbe sono mancati veramente un sacco!
Così, lo scorso fine settimana abbiamo finalmente organizzato la prima trasferta di questa stagione e siamo andate a visitare l’incantevole Varenna. Adagiata sul Lago di Como, Varenna è un borgo medievale fondato da un gruppo di pescatori ed é caratterizzato da una cosat mozzafiato lungo la quale si snodano una moltitudine di case colorate costruite una accanto all’altra. Abbiamo pranzato in un bar con un’ariosa terrazza sul lago, e poi ci siamo perse tra le scale e i ripidi sentieri del centro storico. Infine, abbiamo imboccato la passeggiata pedonale lungo la riva del lago che ci ha portato direttamente alla stupenda Villa Monastero – qui è dove abbiamo scattato le foto che vedete sotto.
Alle bimbe la gita ed il posto sono piaciuti tantissimo ed in particolare si sono divertire nei meravigliosi giardini botanici della Villa. Voi ci siete mai stati? Vi è piaciuto tanto quanto è piaciuto a noi? Fateci sapere!
