Mimisol Christmas 2019 and a colour combination that we love: red and blue

So, this is Christmas! The best time of the year has eventually arrived and as per our tradition, we are spending the first part of this Christmas 2019 holidays in the mountains, with grandma and the extended family. We do not have a big tradition for the night before Christmas, however Christmas day is a very big thing. We stay with mom’s family for lunch, and we go to daddy’s for dinner. We basically end up eating for a whole week in just one day!
We will soon post on the blog some of the pictures that we took yesterday, but in the meantime, we want to celebrate Chrsitmas 2019 with this editorial “Mimisol Christmas 2019” that we have realised with Ariana, Costanza and Dafne in Milan, a few weeks before the holidays season.
Red is one of the colours of Christmas – see also here – and Dafne’s stylish red dress by Mimisol is just perfect for the party season. Made in a super soft silk blend fabric, it has a flared skirt and shiny red crystal buttons and gems on the collar. We matched it with a pair of red flat ballerinas and a matching hairband with crystal buttons.
Costanza is wearing a sleeveless blue and red floral jacquard dress also by Mimisol. Fully lined with soft, silky fabric, it has a frilled hem that falls longer at the back and a red velvet ribbon with a crystal logo at the waist. We matched it with a pair of flat ballerinas – either blue or red – and a Mimisol blue wool hat with a red “M” logo on the front.
We cannot choose among them, and you?

Mimisol Natale 2019 e un abbinamento di colori che ci piace moltissimo: rosso e blu

E così è arrivato il Natale! Finalmente è giunto il periodo più atteso e gioioso dell’anno e, come da tradizione, noi stiamo trascorrendo la prima parte delle vacanze di questo Natale 2019 in montagna, con la nonna e la famiglia allargata. Non abbiamo una grande tradizione legata alla cena della notte prima di Natale, invece il giorno di Natale celebriamo in grande. Generalmente trascorriamo con la famiglia della mamma il pranzo, mentre andiamo a cena dalla famiglia del papà. Praticamente in un giorno solo finiamo per mangiare per un’intera settimana!
Pubblicheremo presto alcune delle foto che abbiamo scattato ieri, ma nel frattempo vogliamo celebrare Natale 2019 con questo editoriale che abbiamo realizzato con Ariana, Costanza e Dafne a Milano, alcune settimane prima delle festività natalizie.
Il rosso è uno dei colori del Natale – date un’occhiata anche qui – e crediamo che l’elegantissimo abitino rosso di Mimisol indossato da Dafne sia perfetto per queste festività natalizie. Realizzato in morbido tessuto misto seta, è caratterizzato da un’ampia gonna svasata, da una fila di bottoncini in luccicante cristallo rosso e gemme sul colletto. Lo abbiamo abbinato ad un paio di ballerine rosse di vernice ed un cerchietto anch’esso tempestato di gemme rosse.
Costanza indossa un abito jacquard floreale blu e rosso senza maniche, anche questo di Mimisol. Realizzato in morbido tessuto di seta, è caratterizzato da una balza arricciata che scende più lunga sul retro ed un nastro di velluto rosso con logo di cristallo posto sulla vita. Lo abbiamo abbinato a un paio di ballerine – blu o rosse, sono perfette entrambe – ed un cappello di lana blu con la “M” di Mimisol rossa sul davanti.
Noi non siamo state in grado di scegliere tra i due, e voi? Ne avete uno che preferite?
