Alberta Ferretti Junior Yesterday and 2020 Resolutions

Happy New Year! How did you spend New Year’s Eve? We went to the party organised in Lahami Bay and after dinner we danced with the girls till around midnight. Aurora, in particular, loved it and she was so excited it was very difficult to put here to sleep – which is rather scaring thinking she is only two!
We love that each year is a new beginning and there is a kind of “reset” button! To set our 2020 resolutions, we’ve read all together our last year ones – you can find them here – and discussed whether we’ve accomplished them or not. We eventually agreed that in 2020 we’ll all try to do it better. Some of them are continuations from our goals last year, because they are things we constantly want to work on. So, here are our 2020 resolutions. Anna promises that she will do her best to follow our household rules for iPads and iPhone use. Alice declared that she will clean up here things by putting them where they belong. While mom re-affirmed the will of being an eco-friendlier family and to cut down the use of plastic bottles.
What goals or resolutions have you made for 2020? We think it will be a very exciting year!

Buon anno nuovo! Come avete atteso l’arrivo del 2020? Noi quest’anno siamo andate alla festa organizzata a Lahami Bay e, dopo il cenone, abbiamo ballato con le bimbe fino a quasi mezzanotte. Aurora, in particolare, si è divertita un sacco ed era così eccitata che abbiamo faticato a metterla a letto – il che è un po’ inquietante considerando che ha solo due anni!
Ci piace un sacco che ogni anno sancisca un nuovo inizio e che ci sia una sorta di pulsante di “reset”! Per formulare i nostri propositi per il 2020 siamo andate a rileggere quelli del 2019 – li potete trovare qui – e abbiamo discusso se li abbiamo effettivamente mantenuti oppure no. Abbiamo concluso che nel 2020 proveremo tutti a seguirli meglio. Alcuni dei propositi per quest’anno sono la continuazione di quelli dello scorso, perché sono cose su cui vogliamo continuare a lavorare, mentre altri sono proprio nuovi. Quindi, ecco i nostri propositi per il 2020. Anna ha promesso che farà del suo meglio per seguire le regole della casa sull’uso di iPad e iPhone. Alice ha dichiarato che metterà a posto le sue cose. Mentre la mamma ha ribadito la volontà di essere una famiglia più eco-compatibile e di ridurre l’uso di bottiglie di plastica.
