Pitti Bimbo celebrates its 90th edition in January 2020
This season Pitti Bimbo is Pitti Bimbo 90! Yes, because in January 2020 Pitti Bimbo celebrates its 90th edition and 45 years of continuous activity that established the Florence based fair as the number one trade show in the kids’ fashion world. We will be back to Fortezza Da Basso from the 16th to the 18th of January 2020 to preview all the new fall winter 2020/21 kids fashion collections.
The theme of the January 2020 winter fair is “Show Your Flags at Pitti” and the Pitti Bimbo flag is the protagonist of this 90th edition campaign curated by the great photo reporter Franco Pagetti.
“Constantly moving fabrics, like in the clothing we wear and which, just like clothes, are mobile symbols of identity, belonging, thought, feeling. A flag is never a silent fabric, it always has something to say, it consistently arouses emotions because it speaks according to universal messages.” Pitti Immagine explains.
As per our tradition, we have teamed up with Ariana and from the 16th of January we will report live from Florence the events and the catwalks we will take part to. Confirmed fashion shows on Thursday are: Children’s Fashion from Spain with all the kids fashion news from Spain (see also here), 65 Benetton street which is the United Colour of Benetton fashion show debut at Pitti Bimbo, and the “not-to-be-missed” Monnalisa special catwalk show at the Stazione Leopolda (see also here). On Friday: Apartment and KidzzFIZZ by Pitti Immagine.

Questa stagione Pitti Bimbo è Pitti Bimbo 90! Sì, perché nel gennaio del 2020 Pitti Bimbo celebra la sua 90a edizione e ben 45 anni di continua attività che hanno consacrato la manifestazione fiorentina come la fiera numero uno al mondo per la moda bimbo. Noi torneremo in Fortezza Da Basso dal 16 al 18 gennaio 2020 per vedere in anteprima tutte le nuove collezioni di moda bimbo autunno inverno 2020/21.
Il tema dell’edizione di gennaio 2020 è “Show Your Flags at Pitti” e la bandiera di Pitti Bimbo è la protagonista della campagna di questa 90a edizione curata dal grande reporter fotografico Franco Pagetti.
“Tessuti sempre in movimento, come quelli degli abiti che portiamo, e che come gli abiti sono simboli mobili di identità, di appartenenza, di pensiero, di sentimento. La bandiera non è mai un tessuto muto, dice sempre qualcosa, suscita sempre un’emozione perché parla secondo messaggi universali”, spiega Pitti Immagine.
Come da tradizione, saremo a Pitti Bimbo 90 insieme ad Ariana e dal 16 gennaio vi mostreremo in diretta da Firenze gli eventi e le sfilate alle quali parteciperemo. Gli eventi confermati per il giovedì sono: Children’s Fashion from Spain con tutte le novità della moda bimbo dalla Spagna (vedete anche qui), 65 Benetton street la sfilata che segna il debutto di United Color of Benetton a Pitti Bimbo, e l’evento da non perdere: lo speciale fashion show di Monnalisa alla Stazione Leopolda (vedete anche qui). Il venerdì invece vedremo Apartment e KidzzFIZZ firmati Pitti Immagine.
