Kids fashion trends for summer 2020: sorbet colours with Valmax

The three days of June at Pitti Bimbo usually unveil the kids fashion trends for the new summer season. Due to the pandemic, this year the Pitti Bimbo summer edition did not take place and the appointment is now shifted to January 2021 for fall winter. However, we’ve still have a lot to share from last year’s edition, Pitti Bimbo 89!

We’ve already written (not without hesitation) about kids fashion trend for spring summer 2020 featuring “black and white”, and since we have received very good feedbacks, now we want to present “sorbet colours”. And we want to do it in the most energetic way possible! In fact, sorbet colours this season are not the delicate pastel shades, rather the strong, deep, saturated hues of ice-creams: watermelon pinks; lemon yellows, Sicily orange reds, terracotta, green mints and bright berries. In other words, the very essence of summer.

In the photos below, realised for us by Ariana, you can see Amelia, Giulia and Alice wearing three sorbet-coloured outfits from Valmax spring summer 2020 collection. For Amelia we have selected a charming watermelon pink dress with a contrasting orange silk bow on the left shoulder and on the hem. We completed the look with a sophisticated haedband made with watermelon pink raffia embellished with a two-coloured bow. For Giulia instead we have selected a heart shaped pied-de-poule dress that mixes watermelon pink and orange. On her head a graceful butterfly in matching colours. For Alice we have selected a more casual outfit characterized by a white t-shirt with the Valmax logo print and a pair of slim fit trousers matching Amelia’s dress. We completed her look with a white hairband with a small flower.
