Halloween 2020: celebrate it or not in the age of COVID-19
Halloween 2020 is going to be spookier than ever!
This is not only due to the convergence of rare events: full moon, blue moon, daylight saving time and weekend celebrations, but above all for COVID-19. The ongoing thread of the pandemic has forced us to wonder if we should celebrate an event that, on the surface, seems frivolous and unimportant. We discussed it with the girls and eventually felt that in this surreal context, carry on celebrating traditions (see here) will make them feel more normal, and why not, even a little happier!
Right now, we are asking you on our Instagram whether you will celebrate Halloween 2020 or not, and we are very curious to know what you will answer. For us the question now is how to celebrate it in a safe and respectful way! We will come back to this point soon on the blog and we will tell you what we have decided to do. Halloween 2020 Tutu Du Monde capsule collection not just for a spooky night
“Midnight fright”, this is the name of Halloween 2020 Tutu Du Monde capsule collection that features enchanting styles in spellbinding hues and magical details. Pitch black is the dominant colour, but there are also ruby rose, ghostly blush and mystical rose! Bodices feature sparkling bone and shining spiderweb decorated with shimmering sequins and beads, while the ghoulish gowns have voluminous layers of tulle that fall from the waist down to the knees. The collection is completed by a vast range of stunningly surreal accessories: spidery capes, creepy crawly legging, tulle wings, chockers and cuffs.
