Ride with me in Alitsa and Harley Davidson

A heady mix of 60s style mood and retro rock “n” roll is just the ticket for our motorbike trip!

With temperatures plunged rapidly and heavy rain steadily drenching many areas of Italy, the beginning of April seems to have welcomed autumn rather than spring! And while we were reflecting on this, we remembered a series of great unposted photos and decided to share them here. They feature our model friend Costanza in Alitsa and they have been taken by the photographer Debora Gatti a couple of months ago.

“Ride with me in Alitsa” that is the name we gave this kids’ fashion editorial characterized by a mix of 60s style mood and retro rock “n” roll! We organized it in the Harley Davidson showroom in Genoa, an iconic place that hosts new and used-vintage incredible motorcycles. We think that it is perfectly fitting the inspiring idea of this editorial and it actually is the best possible location given the lockdown constraints!

The 60s style mood has been achieved working mainly on Costanza’s hair thanks to the talented Alessandra Pipino. During the 1960s, actresses such as Raquel Welch, Jane Fonda and Brigitte Bardot began wearing long, flowing, voluminous hairstyles that soon became synonymous with beauty and sensuality. In addition, there was an explosion of accessories that were used to adorn and enhance the hairstyles: headscarves, ribbons, flowers and jewels.

Finally, the retro rock “n” roll touch has been achived mixing Alitsa garments with Harley Davidson leather jackets, oversize vest and moto biker Harley Davidson accessories.

In the photos below you can see Costanza wearing a two pieces outfit from Alitsa characterized by a sparkling purple blouse with colourful reflections when it catches the light and three rows of ruffle on the short sleeves. It is combined with a dark multicolour metallic skirt.

In the photos below Costanza wears another two pieces from Alitsa. For this second outfit we have selected a sparkling light pink blouse with long sleeves and ruffled details on the bodice and at the wrists. We have matched it with a yellow pleated sparkling longuette skirt.

Harley Davidson Genoa and Costanza’s third outfit

Costanza’s third outfit is a sparkly purple-red dress by Alitsa with colourful reflections made in soft lurex. It features a V-shaped ruffle trim on the front and other ruffles at the neck and at the cuffs.

The fourth and last outfit of this kids’ fashion editorial is a two pieces in blue and black by Alitsa. It features a blue leopard print skirt that we matched with a blue sparkling blouse with a blue star on the front.
