Leaving for our summer holidays this year has been particularly tough! Not only mom had to pack and prepare everything in a hurry due to her job, but the day before the flight she also took her second dose of COVID vaccine and she felt quite ill in the days after our arrival. Luckily she then recovered and the real holidays began.
So, even though we had this blog post ready long before our departure, we have not been able to finalise it and share it until now. We took these pictures on a Saturday morning in early of August at the Rotonda Della Besana. Also known as Rotonda di Via Besana, it is a late baroque compound in Milan that we love because it seems a place suspended in time. Although originally a cemetery, over time the Rotonda has been adapted for a number of other uses and today, it is a leisure area and a venue for cultural events as well as the house of Milan’s Children’s Museum (MUBA).
In the photos below, you can see Alice and Aurora wearing two outfits from the Italian brand Malvi &Co. that we got to know at Pitti Bimbo. The initial idea behind Malvi was to create a line of kids’ clothing that combined the traditional handmade dressmaking and a refined, simple and elegant style and we think they did it! We have completed Alice’s look with a pair of shoes from Morelli while Aurora’s with a pair of Walkey, both brands belonging to Elisabet group.

Alice in Malvi &Co. and Morelli shoes
For Alice we have chosen an elegant outfit from Malvi spring summer 2021 collection characterised by a pair of pink loose trousers and a pink sleeveless blouse with light blue flowers embellished with a pretty bow on the left shoulder. We have completed her look with a pair of white leather sneakers by Morelli (for more blog post on Morelli see here) decorated with glittering pink and gold stars. The high and dynamic sole adds a cool contemporary allure.

For Aurora we have selected a romantic outfit from Malvi spring summer 2021 collection characterised by a pink dress with colourful flowers (as you can see it is the same print as Alice’s blouse) characterised by ruffled sleeves and a bow at the waist. We have completed her look with a pair of white leather sneakers by Walkey decorated with pink and gold stars. If you are one of our regular readers, you know that Aurora is wearing Walkey since she started to walk (for more blog post on Walkey see here), and we love them!
