Boboli swimming suit and Alice at Mljet infinity pool of Pine Tree Boutique Apartments

A couple of weeks after our English Summer Camp in Bournemouth UK, we left Milan direction Croatia for our two-weeks family holidays. We planned this tour starting from the “Must see Croatia” itinerary suggested by Lonely Planet and we added the elements we absolutely wanted to visit. We ended up with what we believe is a very interesting program, that we will soon share here on our kids’ fashion blog with all the things to do and see on a two-week trip to Croatia with kids. Meanwhile, we want to show you an excerpt focused on one of the places we liked the most: Mljet island.

Located in southern Dalmatia, Mljet is the eighth largest Island in Croatia. The ancient Greeks called it “Melita” (“honey” in English) as its woods were inhabited by many swarms of bees. Over the centuries it evolved to become the current Slavic name, Mljet. We included a stop on this island for its colours (truly impressive), its wildness and its two amazing saltwater lakes. Within Mljet National Park (North), both lakes have designated trails for visitors to hike or bike along. In the middle of the larger there is Sveta Marija church, a 12th century Benedictine monastery which is definitely worth a visit.

We arrived on the isle of Mljet early in the morning, with the 10.15 AM ferry, and spent two nights at the amazing PineTree Boutique Apartments located in the lush village of Saplunara (South). We liked the place very much and we loved the amazing infinity pool. This is where we took the photos of Alice wearing an adorable Boboli swimming suit from spring summer 2022 collection.

Alice “shine” in Boboli swimming suit at Mljet infinity pool

For summer of 2022 Boboli has created various swimwear lines including an elegant white and turquoise striped pattern that featured both bikini and swimsuit (like Alice’s). Made in soft and stretchy lycra, the front has a sweet print of the word “shine”. You can still find it here at a discounted price.
