Rykiel Enfant, spring summer 2014 “Happy Flowers” theme

From Italy to France, to feature Rykiel Enfant, but first, a few words about the lady behind the brand: Sonia Rykiel. Creator of the term un-fashion, she has always been driven by the idea that every woman should adapt fashion to fit her personality, and not vice versa. She designed her first sweater for herself, when she couldn’t to find clothing to wear during her pregnancy. Thereafter, she created a tiny sweater, called the “Poor Boy”, which made the cover of Elle fashion magazine, and brought her fame. In 1983, another pioneering choice: the kids line from which we took these wonderful orange creations belonging to the “Happy Flowers” theme!

Dall’Italia alla Francia, per parlarvi di Rykiel Enfant, ma prima, qualche parola sulla donna dietro al marchio: Sonia Rykiel. Coniatrice del termine démodé, è sempre stata guidata dall’idea che ogni donna dovrebbe adattare la moda alla propria personalità, e non il viceversa. Ha disegnato il suo primo maglione per sé stessa, quando non riusciva a trovare l’abbigliamento da indossare in gravidanza. Successivamente, ha realizzato un piccolo maglione, chiamato “Poor Boy”, che è stato pubblicato sulla copertina della rivista di moda Elle, e che le ha valso la fama. Nel 1983, un’altra scelta pionieristica: la linea per bambini dalla quale abbiamo preso queste meravigliose creazioni arancio appartenenti al tema “Happy Flowers”!
